Drivers Beware!

Drivers everywhere need to watch out, another pop star is on the loose. Teen sensation Miley Cyrus got her learner’s permit yesterday, and will be terrorizing drivers within the year. Now for Miley thou it was a pretty good as she received not just her permit, but a Golden Globe nomination. She received a nomination for Best Original Song for “I Thought I Lost You“. That was the theme song for the movie “Bolt”, which she also starred in.

So back to the learner’s permit. The biggest news about all of this was obviously what kind of car she’ll be driving. Rumors were abound that she already had a Mercedes convertible picked out, but that is not the case. She wound up coming away with a Porsche Cayenne, a gift for her 16th birthday. The car itself can cost up to $90,000 but get this it’s a hand me down. Sure she’s not toooo happy about that.

“I took my mom’s old car. I didn’t get the one I wanted, but I got the old car, which wasn’t so bad because it was Porsche…. it was a pretty good hand me down.”

Guess I was wrong, but I’m sure she’ll be looking for a new one quite quickly. I mean really can a rich teen be driving around in a used car no matter what it is.

All I know is teenage boys are going to be crazy soon. Boys are going to be crazy seeing Miley drive by them and then in that car. It may be enough to make those teens pull an Adam Samberg.
