Here we are in 2010 and it looks like they’re ready to get things going again. They’ve got the second album “Starting Today”, almost ready for release (no date as of yet). The album will feature Rick Ross, Ryan Leslie and Daytona as guests.

But to the video and what this post is about. We’ve got the new video “Beautiful People” here for you to view. The video is a collection of footage of them rehearsing, spending time with friends and of course live performances. It’s not a bad song but very different from what many of us are used to from the group.

Me being a DJ, I prefer their “Move Ya Body” and “Oye Mi Canto” type tracks but still many of you would enjoy this still.

This was also a song that’s arguably one of the best rap songs of all-time. Don’t get me wrong it’s not in the top 10 but you can definitely make a case for top 25-50.

One of those songs was Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit. It was one of those tracks that always caught your ear when it came on and almost always got you pumped up. You couldn’t help but sing along.

So with Nirvana we’re showing you today that the Old School Video of the Day will not be genre specific, it will just be about good music.

I’m not the biggest fan of him but at times he can be downright hilarious. His sketches are usually a tad to long but his crazy off the wall brief antics in his monologues are what makes him funny. And this song is what I love about him.

It’s one huge montage of the rapper. Basically it’s a slide show of his work which goes along perfectly with the song “Slide Show”

In the upcoming season of Heroes, Hayden’s character Claire goes off to college. The rumor has it that her roommate, played by Rachel Melvin will have some sort of relationship that goes beyond the normal roomie friendship.

EW’s Michael Ausiello said “I’m not sure about a full-blown relationship, but I can confirm that the college roomies will engage in a little sapphic experimentation. At least that’s the plan.”

No full-blown relationship? That’s fine. Just the pure thought of some action will have Hayden’s stalkers tuning into NBC. Which is probably why producers are considering the move, you know since no one tunes into the station.

The new season starts on September 21st, no word on when Claire’s experimentation starts thou.

The other show looking to mix things up is 90210, no surprise there. This show has tried everything in its brief return to the air. The big news today thou is that Rumer Willis will be guest starring in at least one show. Her character, Gia, will be a lesbian reporter for West Beverly’s “Blaze” news show.

90210 returns in the fall, also no word on when this episode would air.

Matter of fact doesn’t it happen all the time on these movie sets? I mean really we’ve had Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie fall for each other after “Mr and Mrs Smith”. We’ve had Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have a brief fling after “The Break Up”. There have been countless others that were romantically linked after spending months together on set.

The question thou is this, are the rumors really true? If you read Monday’s NY Daily News you’d have to think so.

“They definitely seemed into each other,” says a witness, who told us that when Fox left at 10 p.m., LaBeouf followed hot on her heels. Another spy added that, while partying at a Rose’s bash in West Hollywood earlier in the week, “Shia couldn’t keep his eyes off of Megan: He literally watched her like a hawk all night.”

While things could definitely be hitting up, I’ll just say I don’t have to like it and like every other guy in this world I HATE IT.

“Yeah, ‘CHiPS’ is going to happen next year,” Valderrama said at a press event for his children’s series, Handy Manny. “That’s been a roller coaster because we had a couple of problems.”

Per Star Pulse, Valderrama says there are five main reasons this project has taken so long to hit the big screen.

1. The writers strike in 2007
2. Box office slump
3. SAG strike
4. The economy
5. Valderrama’s schedule

There’s still one major roadblock that needs to be cleared. Valderrama doesn’t know how to ride a motorcycle.

“I learned finally but I haven’t ridden anything that heavy, so that’s another battle to come. I gotta make sure I know what’s up with that motorcycle because I hear it’s really hard, but Erik Estrada said he would teach me,” Valderrama noted.

So basically a lot of things have taken place over the last couple years but it looks like this project is actually on the right track now. I know of many people who have been waiting for years to see this.

Me? I’ll probably wait for Netflix as I’m too young to really remember it. I was born in ‘79 so the extent of my memories are just witnessing the reruns my father used to watch while growing up.

The song itself is actually pretty good, no surprise its Will.I.Am.  It’s pretty much a simple song thou, saying how much his girl “lights” up his life.  It’s not ground breaking but its a nice chill track that any couple would love.    The video follows the song in the fact that it’s simple.  It’s black and white, with only himself in it.  He’s walking along the beach and it’s just him, the ocean and the night sky.  Along with some special effects showing how special he feels the girl is, you know showing how “She’s A Star”.
